About

About Me

Welcome! I am a provider experienced in working with individuals with trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, identity exploration, ADHD and adjustment challenges. As an individual, I am passionate about connecting with the world around us through nature, art and exploration.

Trauma can often root itself and interrupt the mind-body connection, impacting how we see ourselves and interact with the world around us. Together, we can process these experiences and explore ways to move forward.

My treatment approach is individualized to honor the unique experiences of each individual. I will take the time to gather a holistic view that prioritizes what is important to you. I strive to make sure clients will always feel respected and the key driver of their healing experience. My mixed-method approach often uses aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, mind-body connection exercises, mindfulness, somatic therapies, and attachment therapy. I am trained in trauma reprocessing and exposure modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Written Exposure Therapy (WET).

My ultimate goal is to provide a safe, comfortable space for healing and provide tools for you to be able to take with you for the rest of your life. I believe providing knowledge is essential to being able to create long-lasting, sustainable change. My approach will always be tailored with respect to your own individual needs, goals, and feedback. I emphasize communication and welcome open discussion to ensure that your treatment needs are being met and that each session is valuable to you and your journey.

Compassionate, Individualized Treatment for your Unique Needs

Trauma

Traumatic experiences can have lifelong impacts, including decreased confidence, trust, relationship hardships, physical symptoms and more. Trauma can also be complex. That is why I offer multiple approaches to help guide, process and facilitate healing.

Survivors of Sexual Abuse & Human Trafficking

Recovering from experiences of sexual assault, abuse and trafficking can sometimes feel impossible. These experiences often shape perceptions of distrust in others and ourselves. Working through these memories is complex- that is why I take a multi-faceted approach to holistically identify what areas of life and well-being these experiences have impacted. From there, empowerment and collaboration becomes key.

Anxiety

Feeling nervous or worried happens from time to time, but when these feelings become the norm, quality of life can decrease. Utilizing a variety of methods, generalized and specific anxieties can be managed to increase coping skills, confidence and perspective.

Self-Esteem

How we view ourselves impacts our everyday lives. Multiple factors including trauma, upbringing, systemic factors and brain chemistry impact self-esteem. Increasing your sense of self-worth and confidence can help shape how you view and interact with the world around you.

Depression

Depression and depressive symptoms can feel all consuming- causing decreased self-esteem, physical symptoms, relationship struggles and a lack of joy for life. Recovery is possible. Individuals may benefit from specific treatments, or a combination of approaches.

ADHD

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder is a neurodevelopmental disorder that make navigating everyday activities tougher. Symptoms take on a variety of appearances and can look different depending on the individual. Managing symptoms can be achieved through a variety of methods.
