Treating Trauma for Survivors

Working with survivors is a specialized interest of my practice. I have provided support, resources and advocacy to numerous individuals and families recovering from the experiences of sexual assault, abuse and trafficking. A key focus of my approach lays in practicing from an anti-bias, anti-racist perspective, with acknowledgement given to the power imbalances that often precede these experiences.

Throughout my work, I have viewed how perceptions, reactions and coping skills differ for each individual. When we work together to process, it will be at your pace. As a provider, I strive to develop a trusting relationship with compassion, understanding and flexibility. Our work together will emphasize your choices.

I am trained in numerous methods to treat the impacts of trauma. To learn more about these, please visit Healing From Trauma.
